Clara Padgham is a New York based fashion designer and fiber artist
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Textiles and Fashion Design Program, Clara’s work is shaped by naturalistic influences and a patient approach to making. Coming of age in New York City and Florence, Italy, Clara’s muse is the woman on the go who craves versatility and a sense of comfort without sacrificing quality and craft.
Her work is process-driven, often intrigued and inspired by the steps to take materials to a wearable form. Through weaving and embellishments, Clara aims to create garments that work together with their materials and uplift handwork.
